Student Support Intervention
Personalized support that makes a difference

Our Student Support Interventionists (SSIs) are dedicated professionals who provide academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and attendance support to students in grades K–12 who need extra help to stay engaged in school.
Their mission is to bridge the gap between home and school, ensuring that every student has the resources, encouragement, and guidance needed to succeed.
Our team is growing—and so is our impact. Currently, SSIs serve students in the following Boone & Winnebago schools:

Student Success Corner
Behind every number is a story—and behind every story is a student who matters. These success stories showcase the dedication of our SSI team and the incredible growth of the students they serve.
-
“At the start of the 2023–2024 school year, this sophomore had an attendance rate of 66%. Today, he’s proud to be at 85%—a remarkable improvement. With support from regular check-ins, incentives, and goal setting, he’s now aiming for 90% attendance and, for the first time, has set his sights on graduation.”
-
“One student came twice a week for help in US History. After focused support and practice, he raised his grade and told me how much he valued the time spent together. Seeing his confidence grow has been incredibly rewarding.”
-
“Through collaboration with a truancy interventionist, teachers, and the family, one student improved on-time attendance from 44% to 90% in just six weeks. With added homework incentives, he’s now consistently completing assignments, and his engagement in class has noticeably improved.”
