Partner in Education

the Partner in Education Award 

The Partner in Education Award is a new annual recognition from ROE4 and the Greater Rockford Area Chamber of Commerce. It honors an organization or individual living or working in Boone or Winnebago County whose outstanding leadership, community engagement, and commitment has significantly strengthened educational opportunities and support within the Rockford Region.

Their contributions may include sponsoring student programs, providing internships or career-readiness opportunities, supporting school initiatives, offering in-kind services or resources, and more. 

Nominations for 2026 are open now through April 17 at noon.

Nominations for 2026 are open now through April 17 at noon. 

 To make a nomination:

1. Complete the Partner in Education Nomination Form.

2. Save the file under a new name (ex: "[NOMINEE] Nomination") 

3. Include up to 3 letters of recommendation (optional). 

4. Send the file and any included letters of recommendation to the Chamber of Commerce at nominations@rockfordchamber.com before the nomination deadline.
