AA 1902: Student Mental Health Issues in Special Education

This course is designed to provide participants with essential and updated information about federal and State special education laws, administrative and judicial rulings interpreting these laws, and current OCR and ISBE compliance issues, as well as practical recommendations for planning proactively to avoid common legal mistakes that school districts make when making decisions concerning the identification, evaluation, programming, and discipline for students with suspected or known mental health issues.
