The Regional Office of Education #4 and the Illinois Retired Teacher’s Association are excited to host four, unique and informative sessions for educators within their final two years before retirement! Our goal is to provide you with the support you need as you prepare for retirement! Each session focuses on a specific content area impacting educator retirees. Attend them all, or choose the specific session(s) addressing the information you need!

SEL Strategies to Help Transition to Retirement - Presenter Christy Schweitzer, 4-4:30pm - Finish your education career strong! In this interactive session, you’ll apply practical SEL strategies to create a plan to seamlessly transition towards retirement in an empowering way.
Retirement is No Laughing Matter, LOL. - Presenter Scott Bloomquist, 4:30-5pm -  Are you prepared to Live On Less? Prepare for your financial future with guidance from the Regional Superintendent of the Regional Office of Education 4 who will give you tips on how to prepare for living on your pension.
