Instructional Strategies for Today’s Secondary Classroom

This 2½-hour professional learning session provides elementary educators with practical instructional strategies that promote student engagement, collaboration, and inclusive learning environments. Participants will explore research-based approaches that help meet the diverse academic and social needs of students while increasing active participation in the classroom.

Through interactive activities, discussion, and hands-on strategy exploration, elementary educators will learn how to make learning more visible, incorporate collaborative structures, and adapt instruction to support a wide range of learners. Teachers will leave with ready-to-use strategies that encourage student voice, deeper thinking, and meaningful participation.This session is designed to be practical and applicable to everyday classroom instruction, giving elementary educators tools they can immediately implement to create more engaging and supportive learning experiences for all students.
